Clinical pathology covers a wide range of laboratory functions and is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Clinical pathology also involves maintenance of information systems, research, and quality control. Infectious diseases pathology involves the Clinical pathology of the diagnosis of disease through the analysis of bodily fluids viz., blood and urine, or tissues, through the application of clinical microbiology, haematology and molecular pathology. It consists of Hematopathology Immunopathology and Radiation Pathology. Includes the study of blood cells, lymph nodes, bone marrow, immune system and other bodily functions.
